Mardi Gras Mass at Marylake Shrine on February 25, 2017 featuring the Rep Pepper Dixieland Band. Following the Mass, the parishioners were treated to delicious pancakes, sausage and wine served by the Knights of Columbus volunteers.

August 17, 2016. To commemorate the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, the new Rosary Path was opened at the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace at Marylake in Toronto. Staff, students and members of the Villanova community enact a Modern Day Way of the Cross on the school grounds and ajoining Marylake grounds on April 11, 2017. Organized by Grade 12 Leaders and staff, each station reflected on societal issues and the Passion of Our Saviour, Jesus Christ, a beautiful and moving event that prepared each one of us for the Easter celebration to follow.
